Our company started after its founder found himself Espresso-Less when his Breville Barista Express™ suddenly stopped working properly due to the group head (where the portafilter is inserted and locked in) leaking and spraying espresso all over the counter. After looking for a replacement gasket everywhere and even at local certified repair shops, the right gasket was either out of stock, back-order or the earliest it could be shipped would be 2 to 3 weeks. Even the manufacturer directly is always showing this part as sold-out worldwide on their website and you'll be told the same story by calling their support line. There's no way one can survive in this world without its favourite morning coffee! The only immediate solution? Buying a new $1000 espresso machine. This was madness but that's what our founder ended up doing anyway because there were no other options. |
Being a life-long serial-entrepreneur, he began his journey to mainland China to find the right partner to manufacture this product in large quantities. Having dealt with partners in China for over two decades, it was second nature for him. After a few months of reverse-engineering, mould design and casting, stress-testing, certifications, and market research, BARISTA PARTS was born with the launch of its first landmark product, the 54mm Silicone Steam Ring Replacement Gasket for Breville Espresso Machines.
